Download, run, and write freely for 30 days - no account, no credit card. After that, the app stays read-only until you paste a license key. Buy a key for the period you want; nothing renews on its own.

No installer. Download the binary, make it executable, and run it. The app is self-contained and works offline. Linux (AppImage, x86_64) and Windows (NSIS, x86_64).

### License keys

Keys are priced at $9 per month of usage, with the annual key discounted to $99. Four preset durations:

- Monthly - 1 month of read and write - $9.
- Quarterly - 3 months of read and write - $27.
- Half-year - 6 months of read and write - $54.
- Annual - 12 months of read and write - $99.

Checkout runs through Payfast Multi-Currency. The displayed price is in USD; on the Payfast checkout page the buyer can pay in USD, EUR, GBP, ZAR or their local currency (Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, SnapScan, or Zapper). Stateframe settles in ZAR; Payfast applies its own live FX on the card statement. The license key arrives by email within a minute of payment.

A key must be redeemed within the period it grants - a 1-month key inside 30 days, an annual key inside a year - and the confirmation email states the exact date. Applying a key early costs nothing: the full period starts the day it is pasted into the app, not the day it was bought. After that date the key can no longer be applied and it cannot be reissued.
